This year’s 2026 calendar theme is “Dance.” 

It celebrates Bay Area dancers of all ages and traditions. Each one embodies the creativity, resilience, and joy that movement brings to our lives.  

This calendar showcases 13 remarkable dancers - they teach, they honor tradition, they break boundaries and perform locally and around the world.

The photographs were captured by Young of boyboy studios, who brought a dancer's eye and sensibility to every portrait.  His ability to see and feel movement through the lens adds a special grace to this collection.  Special thanks to photographer Ron Rothenberg for providing the stunning photo of Claire Schick.  

I hope this calendar will inspire you to find your own rhythm - put on your tap shoes, join the Lindy Hop dancers on Sundays near the de Young Museum, learn to bachata, or simply dance in your kitchen.  However you move, let it bring you joy!
